Role Summary
You know where tenders come out, which ones are worth Navio's time, and how to win them. You find government, PSU and large-enterprise opportunities early, qualify them, run every bid end to end and help the team pitch. Nothing goes in late, and nothing goes in incomplete. You own each bid from the first alert to the result.
Key Responsibilities
- Track government, PSU and large-enterprise tenders and RFPs across GeM, CPPP, state e-procurement portals and PSU and enterprise procurement sites, and flag the relevant ones early.
- Qualify each opportunity on eligibility, scope fit, timelines, commercial terms and risk, and recommend bid or no-bid.
- Own the bid: documents, compliance checklists, pre-bid queries, EMD and bank guarantees, and submission on time, every time.
- Write and assemble the response with sales and product: technical write-ups, case studies, pricing sheets and presentations.
- Support the pitch: pre-bid meetings, technical presentations, clarifications and follow-up after submission.
- Keep the bid library current: standard responses, certificates, references and past submissions.
Must Have
- 2–4 years in tendering, bid management or pre-sales for software or IT services, including government and PSU tenders in India.
- Knows the portals, digital signature certificates, the paperwork and the deadlines, and has submitted winning bids.
- Strong writing and document skills; meticulous about compliance and timelines.
- Coordinates sales, product, legal and finance to a hard deadline without dropping anything.
- Uses AI tools to read long tender documents and draft responses faster, and checks every line before it goes out.
- Takes ownership of every bid and finishes what you start.
Good To Have
- Public-sector bids for enterprise software, SaaS or compliance products.
- Exposure to international tenders.
- Working knowledge of the General Financial Rules and public procurement preferences such as Make in India and MSE.
