About Nuvena. Nuvena builds Navio, the Execution Operating System: every promise a company makes or is owed — in a contract or to a team — gets an owner, a follow-up and proof.

Role Summary

You make sure Navio OS works the way our customers need it to, every release. About half your work is hands-on manual testing and half is building and running automated tests. You understand the product as a whole — who uses it, why and how — so you design test cases from real use, catch what others miss, and help shape what we build next. You work closely with our engineering, support, sales and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the quality of every Navio OS release: decide what to test, test it, and give a clear go or no-go with evidence.
  • Manual testing, about half your time: exploratory, functional, regression, cross-browser and mobile testing of real customer workflows — contracts, obligations, renewals, approvals, payments and reminders.
  • Automation, about half your time: build and maintain UI and API test suites (for example Playwright, Selenium or Cypress, and Postman or REST-assured), run them in CI on every build, and keep them fast, stable and free of flaky tests.
  • Design test cases from how customers really use the product: user journeys, roles and permissions, edge cases, real data, and what breaks when a step is missed.
  • Join product discussions from the start: question requirements, spot gaps in a design before it is built, and suggest how a feature should look and work for the user.
  • Write bug reports developers can act on at once — exact steps, expected and actual results, evidence, severity and business impact — and follow every bug through to closure.
  • Work with support to reproduce customer issues, and with sales and marketing to check demos, pilots and new features before customers see them.
  • Track quality — escaped defects, coverage, release health — and improve how we test, every sprint.
  • Test with data and access in mind: roles, tenant separation, personal data, imports, exports and integrations.

Must Have

  • 3–4 years in software testing, with a real mix of manual and automation work — roughly half each.
  • Has built and maintained automated UI and API tests for a web application, in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python or Java.
  • Strong manual and exploratory testing: writes test plans and test cases that find real bugs, not just the happy path.
  • Product sense: has worked on a software product, not only client projects, and helped decide how features should work — what the user needs, how it should be designed and what it should do.
  • Working SQL, API testing, browser developer tools, Git and CI.
  • Clear written and spoken English; works closely with engineering, support, sales and marketing; stays calm and firm under release pressure.

Good To Have

  • Experience at a B2B SaaS product company, ideally enterprise or workflow software.
  • Performance, accessibility or basic security testing.
  • Mobile app testing on Android and iOS.
  • Uses AI tools to write, review or speed up tests, and checks their output.
  • ISTQB or a similar certification.
